Special Thank You to the Charity “Foothold” – the Engineers’ Charity

In the past few years, I’ve had to deal with a number of difficult situations in my personal life and during that time the Engineers’ support charity “Foothold” deserved a special mention indeed.  This is not a sponsored post, but one of thanks to the organisation.

Foothold is a UK based Charity started 125 years ago that supports Engineers during difficult times through financial, well-being or emotional support.  You can find out more about why and how they started here.

Foothold helped me with a financial gift in 2024 when I received funds when no other organisation I tried could help me, and within a matter of a few months they provided funds to help me achieve something something that was life changing for me and my family.  For that reason, I am very grateful to all the staff who helped me and for that investment into my family.
